The event series organised by the Design Department at FHV

Design Talk OpenIdea – the discussion series hosted by the Department of Design – regularly brings international perspectives from design, art, business and society into dialogue. It seeks out the pressing questions of the future and provides a space to negotiate them collectively.

Thought leaders, practitioners and students come together to reflect on technological change, explore new perspectives and push the boundaries of what is possible.

At the centre lies the potential of design to initiate and support transformation: as a tool for social innovation, a sensor for emerging developments and a laboratory in which alternative futures become visible and open to debate.

The series of events is open to the public and free of charge for all interested visitors.
