Melinda

The Melinda project is an international project, funded by Interreg Alpine Space. The aim of the Melinda project is to actively support citizens and stakeholders in the field of "mobility of the future". In doing so, it promotes the development of behavioral change towards low-carbon and sustainable urban, suburban and transnational mobility. The focus is on:

  • Development of an app to collect mobility data
  • Integration of mobility data ... especially on a transnational level
  • Evaluation of mobility behavior and patterns
  • Sensitization of citizens through the real-time proposals for more sustainable mobility; presentation of information on the provision of alternative mobility solutions, emissions, CO2 pollution, etc.
  • Developing innovations for multimodality and modal shift.
  • Participatory policy design/action planning based on collected mobility data

The Melinda project will collect and analyze mobility data from all partner countries. The results will be used in the context of active mobility and transnational policy making. The research centre Process and Product Engineering of the FHV is integrated in the project as one of the twelve partners.
