The Future Starts Now!
To live up to this year's motto, we are eager to meet the criteria of the regional sustainable event label "ghörig feschta" (you will have to ask a local how to pronounce it). Therefore, we will use reusable dishes, we will avoid waste as much as possible and we will carefully consider which giveaways we will provide for you.
Please support us in organizing the event as sustainable as possible. What you could do:
- Compensate the CO2 emissions of your flights. One possible service is atmosfair: https://www.atmosfair.de/en/
- Use the well-developed public transport system in Dornbirn. See section "Getting to Dornbirn and around".
- Fill your water bottles with Dornbirn's tap water. It's very clean and tasty, and you avoid plastic waste.
FAQs
Please contact us at ga24@fhv.at and we will provide you the information as well as access needed.
Yes, but be careful using your mobile phone when you are in Switzerland! As Switzerland is not a member of the EU, the fair use policy (for free roaming) is not in effect. And that can be expensive - even if you are only receiving text messages. We recommend staying in flight mode until you reach Austrian or any other EU country.
Shops in Dornbirn mostly close at 6 pm. Supermarkets close 7 pm, the one at the main train station is closing at 9 pm.
If you have any questions or enquiries about Erasmus+ Staff Mobility funding, please contact our International Office via international@fhv.at.
Our colleagues will be happy to sign and stamp your Erasmus+ documents digitally, please send them to the email address mentioned before. Please make sure that the documents meet the requirements of your institution and are complete, we cannot sign blank or incomplete documents. If a digital signature is not sufficient, please contact them to arrange an appointment on site.
