- The European Student Assembly in Strasbourg brought together 250 students from all over Europe to discuss a wide range of European challenges.
- International cooperation and cultural exchange not only strengthen professional skills, but also show how students can actively contribute to an innovative and networked Europe.
"The RUN-EU short stays abroad are ideal for part-time students. Taking part in the three-day European Student Assembly was a very special experience for me. I was particularly impressed by the size and diversity of the event. 250 students from all over Europe came together, represented by numerous universities, fields of study and nationalities. I am originally from Serbia. It was therefore particularly valuable for me to participate in such an international environment and to exchange ideas with students from all over Europe," says Staša.
Common digital challenges
The FHV student took part in the panel with the topic "Unlocking Digital Potential: How can the EU empower inclusive digital literacy and cybersecurity and build resilience?". "A topic that is closely linked to my work as a software developer at Blum and my studies at the FHV in the field of software development and digital systems. Working in such an international environment has highlighted the importance of collaboration in tackling common digital challenges," she sums up and concludes: "In addition, ESA has shown that RUN-EU students can actively contribute to the design of a more connected, innovative and resilient Europe."
* RUN-EU stands for "Regional University Network - European University". The European university network connects universities from different countries and promotes international cooperation, mobility and intercultural learning.
