Living Otherwise - NEB Satellite Event
What can you expect?
The NEB Satellite Event "Living Otherwise" interweaves exhibition, discourse and experimentation to explore how future ways of living and building can emerge from more-than-human perspectives. It invites the public to rethink forms of cohabitation through post-growth, systemic and regenerative design approaches. Presenting spatial prototypes, material experiments and narrative scenarios that address shared infrastructures, care and ecological regeneration, the event will culminate in a mini-symposium as part of the Open Idea Design Talk series of the Department of Design at the FHV, which will include keynotes and a panel discussion and link the exhibited works to the NEB principles of beautiful, sustainable and inclusive design. "Living Otherwise" acts as a platform for articulating criteria for desirable futures - ecologically responsible, socially just and sensually enriching for human and more-than-human life.
