RUN-EU Super Week 2025 at the HAMK

02.12.2025
In Finland, a group of FHV employees dealt with exciting topics such as academic well-being, collaborative learning and innovation. What they learned will be incorporated into their work in the future.

Eight FHV employees took the opportunity to take part in the RUN-EU Super Week in Finland this year. They dealt intensively with topics related to the pedagogical culture of RUN-EU, including Social Support in Academic Well-Being, Collaborative Learning and Innovation. One particular challenge was the practical Design Thinking Challenge, which was worked on in multidisciplinary groups.

Strengthening networks

A central component of the Super Week was the inspiring exchange with RUN-EU colleagues from all partner universities. The personal contact, the joint work phases and, last but not least, the traditional sauna session followed by an ice bath in one of the many lakes contributed significantly to creating new connections and strengthening existing networks. One highlight was the visit to the Evo Campus, the unique forestry campus that allows students to learn and live in the middle of nature. The participants were impressed by the student-oriented atmosphere of the campus.

The week offered a broad spectrum of forward-looking university didactic impulses and was one thing above all: intensive, enriching and unifying. The ideas and perspectives gained will be incorporated into the participants' work in the future.
