What awaits you
Do you know how exciting nursing can be?
No two days are the same. Nursing accompanies people from birth to their last breath, in health and illness. Nurses carry out both nursing and medical activities. They show empathy in different phases of life and ensure safe patient care, such as hygiene standards.
What exactly can you expect in the workshop:
You will gain insights into the profession of nursing and can actively participate in practical exercises from everyday nursing care:
- Seeing and listening to a virtual heart: the "Caretrain" project
- The self-experiment in an age suit: experience ageing
- Performing hand disinfection correctly: test with a UV lamp.

Details on the series of events
The so-called Youth University takes place three times a year at the FHV. The Youth University is a series of events in which lecturers from our university of applied sciences put on exciting workshops and lectures for young people aged 13-15
.
Whether flashing cubes, dancing pictures, digital works of art or virtual hearts - the Youth University is all about trying things out, taking part and having creative aha moments.
