FHV Offen on June 13: A colourful programme for the whole family

On Friday, June 13, 2025, the FHV. As part of "FHV Offen", visitors can expect an exciting, family-friendly programme that makes studying and science a tangible experience.

Entertainment for the whole family promises "FHV Offen" on June 13. On the open day, the university invites everyone who is interested in studying, science and research - regardless of whether they are school pupils, high school graduates or professionals. "Everyone who is curious about us is welcome. The programme includes taster lectures on current topics such as mind hacking, artificial intelligence and digital nudging. There are numerous hands-on stations for young and old, as well as guided tours of the laboratories and research centers. While parents find out about study opportunities or research projects, for example, young people can discover new talents," explains FHV Rector Regine Kadgien.

 

A university for everyone

As part of FHV Offen, the campus is transformed into a discovery zone. From a science slam to making soap and trying out "intoxicating glasses" to the Alumni Corner, there is something for all visitors. The open day provides answers to questions about studying and career opportunities. Everyone who is preparing for their next career step, but also those who simply want to get to know the FHV, are cordially invited.

 

Free participation & travel

Participation in FHV Offen is free of charge. A special extra: travel by public transport is also free on the day of the event - just hop on and come along! Click here to register for the free ride.

    students present innovative projects from Engineering and Technology, Design, Business and Management and Social Work.

    from the "Flying Classroom" to soap making and computer game programming - participation is expressly encouraged!

    From deep work to mind hacking to artificial intelligence - exciting impulses from FHV experts.
  • Campus tours:
    Visitors discover laboratories, research centers, design studios and the modern library.

    personal discussions on choosing a course, application processes and career opportunities.

    face painting, bouncy castle, book flea market, ice cream van and cocktail bar provide entertainment and enjoyment.
