Successful RUN-EU EPA mission conference at the FHV

17.09.2025
The FHV recently hosted the final RUN-EU EPA mission conference with 94 participants from all over Europe. The hybrid event offered a review on the eight EPA missions 2024/25 and at the same time introduced a workshop lasting several days to develop joint study programmes.

The co-creation workshop, which was designed and led by the FHV's RUN-EU managers Frauke Dobers and Lisa Rux, was attended by programme development teams, the RUN-EU working group, quality management experts and university representatives. Discussions included criteria for RUN-EU joint programmes and the European Degree Label as well as topics such as student participation, sustainability and multilingualism. Expert input from the Future and Advanced Pedagogy Skills Academy (FAPSA), the pedagogical unit of RUN-EU, and the RUN-EU Quality Assurance Group supported the participants in linking pedagogical concepts with institutional framework conditions.

Putting students at the center

One highlight was the workshop with European expert Maciej Markowski, who emphasized that students must be at the heart of every programme design. Best practice examples from the ULYSSEUS and YUFE university alliances provided valuable impetus. The conference and workshop led to important insights for the development of high-quality, student-centered joint programmes within RUN-EU.
