We’ve got the Power!
Exploring and Shaping the Climate, Energy, and Heat Transition
Through hands-on, experiential workshops and activities, technology and research become tangible, while children and young people develop a stronger awareness of the energy and heat transition. Additionally, career paths and opportunities to actively shape society and their region in this context are highlighted. On a social level, children and young people cultivate independent attitudes and values through engagement, relate societal and individual future challenges to one another, and are empowered to contribute to a sustainable world – fully in the spirit of “We’ve got the power!”
Workshop offerings:
- Education on Energy and Heat Transition: Workshops and excursions provide knowledge and insights on climate change as well as global, regional, and local energy and heat transition.
- Implications and Impacts of the Energy and Heat Transition: Through discussion and workshop formats, children and young people explore social connections (climate justice, gender equality, etc.) and relate them to their own lives and communities. They engage with peers and experts, gaining positive, practical experiences in STEM fields.
- Energy-Relevant Professions and Research Fields in the Vorarlberg Region: In explorations and hands-on workshops, children and young people discover energy and heat for themselves and gain first-hand insights into energy-related professions and careers in their region.
- Future Perspectives: Experts from research and education share their knowledge and collaborate with students to create relevant exhibits. At interactive experiment stations, aspects of sustainable energy systems and e-mobility are made tangible and engaging.
