Bachelor InterMedia
The focus of the 4th semester is on sustainable design: Students combine design practice with sustainability thinking, with strong knowledge regarding urban ecosystems, sustainable practices, and social and economic contexts. Regular and specialisation courses are available. Additionally, you can focus on developing design solutions for an individual media-related challenge. You will benefit from top-level equipment and individual support by our experts to optimally work on your own project.

Prerequisites for incoming students
- Good knowledge of the basics of design in two and three dimensions (area, form, colour, font, typography)
- Interest in current design tasks
- Definition of your own media-related challenge
- English at least Level B2.

German Language and Austrian Culture Courses
These courses are scheduled weekly and run over the full semester.
- German for International Students I (3 ECTS)

Exchange students may choose one of the above German courses. Please note that due to scheduling constraints, these courses are not available to students enrolled in the Computer Sciences – Digital Innovation (IDI) bachelor’s programme. - Exploring Austrian Culture and Values (3 ECTS)
This course is open to all exchange students, subject to timetable availability. Students from the Computer Sciences – Digital Innovation and Social Work bachelor’s programmes are guaranteed to have no scheduling conflicts and can freely enrol in this course.
