The following documents are necessary for your complete application:

  • Online form within the online application
  • Cover letter
  • Curriculum vitae in tabular format
  • Transcripts (Matura certificate, bachelor's/master's/diploma examination certificate or - diploma certificate, transcript of records - overview of achievements)
  • Passport or identity card
  • Current portrait photo
 

The application deadline for starting in the respective winter semester is August 31!

Applications for studies at the FHV are possible via the online application.

If you are still missing certificates or exam result, they can be submitted later.
 

Earlier application = Earlier acceptance!

Take advantage of the early admission process: Apply by March 1 and secure your study place earlier. Early acceptance is possible depending on the results in the admission procedure.
 

Important for third countries (non-EU/non-EEA):

As an applicant:in from a third country (non-EU or non-EEA), the March 1 is the application deadline for you. The reason for this is that it sometimes takes longer until international documents can be checked or lead times are necessary for the application of a visa or a residence permit.

 

 

Admission procedure


After receiving your application, it will be reviewed by the FHV. You will then be notified of the further steps by e-mail. 

The allocation of study places takes place according to the following criteria:

  • Analysis of the application documents (40%) and
  • Structured individual interview (60%) - on-site or virtual

 

You will receive written confirmation of your acceptance into the master's degree in Mechatronics.
