Course content

The focus of the seminar is the importance of various theories of Social Work to the Social Work practice. The way Social Work is organized has an impact to the professional performance of the Social Workers.

Learning outcomes

Students are able to recognize the interdependence of theory and practice. They are able to describe recognized work practices and to recognize the ambivalence of helping and controlling. They do the first steps to develop a professional identity.
