- Sketching parts and assemblies as a basis for spatial imagination and three-dimensional modelling.
- Basic knowledge of creating technical drawings according to rules laid down in standards
- Introduction to manufacturing technology and overview of the main groups of manufacturing processes (machining with geometrically defined cutting edge, machining with geometrically undefined cutting edge)
- Presentation of application cases and process variants
- Introduction to CAD
After successful completion of the course, students will be able to
- sketch simple mechanical parts,
- understand the basics of technical drawings and present technical facts in a generally understandable way
- name selected manufacturing processes that are particularly important in electrical engineering
- solve simple mechanical design tasks using a CAD program.
