What you can expect
Meet a wide range of universities and colleges on the FHV campus and get personal advice. Find out about studying, spending a year abroad, scholarships or a voluntary social year. Numerous institutions offer comprehensive information about training and further education opportunities at home and abroad. There is also information on the armed forces and civilian service.
New this year: there will be a pupil/student lounge where pupils can find out about current study programs from current students. Following the official Check it Out programme, there will be an after-network event for all exhibitors and visitors.
Programme
Check it Out offers you many opportunities to find out about different educational paths. At the presentations, you will receive first-hand tips for shaping your future. Universities introduce themselves and provide insights into campus life. You will learn about the diversity in different professional fields, such as the police or teaching. You will also find out how different institutions can support you on your career path with information and counselling services.

For 35 years, BIFO has been the competence center for education and career issues and was founded by the state of Vorarlberg and the Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce. At three locations in Bregenz, Dornbirn and Feldkirch, a dedicated team of experts takes care of the various concerns of those seeking advice. Both young people and adults receive comprehensive advice, their skills and abilities are analyzed and educational and career paths are developed together. In addition to individual advice, BIFO also offers the further education platform "Pfiffikus", information on education and careers on the website and offers such as the talent check, workshops or parents' evenings directly in schools or institutions. BIFO's consultations are free of charge, provider-neutral and all content is treated confidentially.

The Vorarlberg Education Directorate is a mixed federal and state authority, it acts as the employer of all teachers in the state of Vorarlberg: this includes the compulsory school sector (elementary school, secondary schools, polytechnic schools), all agricultural and vocational schools, as well as the AHS and BMHS sector.

Professional musicians have been receiving instruction in almost all instruments and singing at the former Jesuit convent "Stella Matutina" since 1977. The Stella offers two innovative bachelor's and master's degree programs. Around 320 musicians from 26 nations are currently studying here. Maximum flexibility when studying? Distance learning makes it possible!
The Center for Distance Learning Austria is an institution of the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) and an official cooperation partner of the FernUniversität in Hagen - the only state distance learning university in the German-speaking world. The Bregenz Study Center is available to students living in Austria and all students in the Lake Constance region for all matters relating to studying at the FernUniversität. It enables students to take part in courses, complete examinations and handle administrative matters at regional level. In addition, the Center for Distance Learning Austria also arranges offers from the JKU. For example, the unique JKU degree program "Artificial Intelligence" can also be attended as a distance learning program from Bregenz and Vienna. It is also possible to take examinations for the Linz Multimedia Diploma in Law at these two locations as well as at the Villach Study Center.
