ABC

Project Objective

The center's goal is to advance the application of blockchain technologies in the financial and energy sectors, logistics and retail, government, and industrial applications such as Industry 4.0 and IoT. These new applications and business models, resulting from collaborations between established players, innovative start-ups and leading research institutes, are key to creating new jobs and establishing Austria among the ten most innovative countries in Europe. 17 predominantly public institutions important for blockchain adoption participate in the center as associate partners, ensuring a joint and smooth co-evolution of technological progress and legal and policy infrastructure.

The FHV - Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, in cooperation with ABC, offers to set up and implement cooperative research and implementation projects for companies. Within this framework, part of the costs for research and the creation of prototypes in the field of blockchain technologies can be co-funded.
