What research topics are you currently working on?
I’m currently researching on the impact of artificial intelligence on companies and their business models. My focus is on how competitive advantage can be sustained and gained through the implementation of artificial intelligence.
Why are you a researcher?
Already at my time in the economy, I didn’t view existing things as facts valid for all time. My curiosity questions existing topics, investigates unclear areas, and comprehensively supervises projects. As a researcher, I can daily apply that in my field of interest and generate value for science as well as the economy
What is your opinion on the current AI trend within companies?
The use of AI within your own company has enormous potential, but requires a certain level of investment. Many companies fall for the trend and compulsively try to introduce AI into the company to some extent without any strategy. In my opinion, the true potential of AI for one's own company only unfolds with a clear AI strategy that is tailored to the company and the market conditions. My research group and I would be happy to discuss this in more detail!
