Wellness diary for kids

02.04.2024
Systematic self-observation using a diary has been proven to lead to a gradual improvement in well-being.

The wellbeing diary helps children and young people to pay attention to their own wellbeing and to recognize what contributes to it and what does not. In this way, children and young people, teachers and educators can have a positive impact on their well-being over a longer period of time. People who feel good develop a fundamentally positive attitude towards their environment and thus a good basis for coping with the demands of everyday life.

Previous applications have shown that the diary works very well as part of a thematically related school project under the guidance of a teacher. A progress analysis shows how well-being deteriorated during the coronavirus pandemic and has since improved again. This trend is overlaid by a deterioration in well-being at the end of each semester.

The well-being diary can be accessed via the weblink mintag.at. All data is managed anonymously on a server at FH Vorarlberg.
