Course content

This course deals with following topics in robotics:

  • robot kinematics and dynamics
  • robot simulation
  • 3D image processing.

Expected results are defined, concepts developed and implemented in the automation laboratory working off a complete development process.

Learning outcomes

Objectives of this course are gaining knowledge of methods, simulation techniques and tools for solving complex tasks in robotics as well as acquiring competence to apply theoretical knowledge in advanced topics to assignments in the field of robotics and 3D image processing.

Assessment methods and criteria

Exam (40%, must be passed) and

Project (60%, must be passed).

For a positive grade, a minimum of 50% of the possible points must be achieved in each part of the examination.
