What motivates your research within your chosen fields?
My research is primarily motivated by the potential for technology to address pressing challenges in healthcare and environmental monitoring. Through my work with biosensors, microfluidics, and Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices, integrated with the power of neural networks, I aim to enhance the precision, efficiency, and accessibility of diagnostic tools. This integration not only exemplifies the potential of interdisciplinary approaches to foster innovation but also underlines my belief in technology's role in improving public health and environmental sustainability.
How have your diverse educational and professional experiences across different countries enriched your research approach?
My educational and professional journey across India, Germany, Austria and Canada has been instrumental in enriching my research approach and perspective in microtechnology and microfluidics. This international exposure has allowed me to appreciate and integrate diverse scientific cultures, methodologies, and philosophies into my work.
How do your technical skills support your research activities?
My technical skill set, including proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, COMSOL, photolithography fabrication processes, PCB design, and programming in Visual Basic, C++, and Python, directly supports my research activities. These skills have enabled me to design and fabricate complex devices, develop measurement software for precise control and data acquisition, and apply computational models for data analysis and prediction. My ability to utilize a wide range of tools and technologies has been crucial in conducting comprehensive research and achieving meaningful outcomes.
