Health & Care 

 

Research in the field of Health & Care is characterized by its high practical orientation. On the one hand, the focus is on maintaining and increasing the well-being and quality of life of all citizens. On the other hand, health (dis)inequalities of different settings and target groups are to be highlighted and compensated. The description and explanation of health-related phenomena are based on innovative models. The interaction of biological, psychological and social factors embodies a holistic view, in which the human being is perceived as a whole.  

Increase the attractiveness of professional groups

At the organizational level, the focus is on optimizing processes with innovative approaches to solutions. The goal is to strengthen the attractiveness of the professional group of nursing and care staff, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Medicine. The focus is also on the promotion of ratio-preventive measures within health care organizations, the promotion of the health of employees and the reduction of fluctuation.  

Participatory Research Approach 

The research group follows a participatory research approach that networks different institutions to enable mutual learning and to exploit synergies. The focus is always on the scientific nature and independence of our approach. Research and practice are networked to enable an evidence-based and resource-oriented approach.
