Prior to his tenure at NHL Stenden, he had a successful 23-year career as Senior Principal at Accenture Strategy, concurrently holding the position of Associate Professor at Delft University of Technology.

Earlier in his career, he held the position of Head of the Policy Analysis Group at Radboud University in Nijmegen and worked as a Research Associate at the University of Michigan.
