Terms of Use E-Resources

 

When using all online resources of the library of the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, the applicable provisions of the Copyright Act, the respective terms and conditions of use, publishing and licensing and Section 29 of the Library Regulations must be complied with. 

In particular, the following terms of use must be observed without fail: 

  • Access to licensed electronic resources (databases, e-journals, e-books, video tutorials, etc.) is only permitted to members of the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences and external user:s with a valid library card. 

  • Data from electronic information sources may only be used, printed or stored for personal use and research purposes. Permanent storage is generally not permitted.

  • Systematic printing or saving of articles, complete booklets, books, tutorials, search results, etc., especially by robots, is prohibited. 

  • Data from electronic information sources may not be passed on to third parties or made available on websites, either electronically or in printed form. 

Note that for a complete logout, the browser must be closed.
