Gain insights into research

The FHV is one of the most research oriented universities of applied sciences in Austria. Studies and research are closely linked. The courses of the master's degree in Sustainable Energy Systems have a very close thematic connection to the Research Centre Energy  and the research centre Business Informatics at the FHV. In many courses you will be taught by staff members of these research centres. This supports a highly topical, well-founded and at the same time practical learning.

An important component in the development of your personal research competence is the final master's thesis. In it, you investigate, for example, a question within the framework of a research project at the FHV or in cooperation with Business and Management. The degree programme is in contact with many companies and organizations in the energy sector, which advertise project and master's thesis topics as well as job offers during and after the degree programme.
